Corrie Ten Boom

I am definitely still getting my feet under me with the homeschooling thing. And most days if you asked I would tell you I’m failing. But I did have this one win. We did a multi-week study on the Ten Boom family, WWII, European geography and some of our family heritage (I am half Dutch). And Landon read one of my top 5 books of all time: “The Hiding Place.”

I cried multiple times while teaching the kids and watching the movie about Corrie Ten Boom with them. What I think I love most about her testimony was her ordinariness. She wasn’t a theological or a best selling author. She was just an simple woman who loved God and served Him. If you’ve never read her story run to get it. I promise you’ll be encouraged.
